Association Meetings & Programs

Meetings & Programming

  • Work with the program chair and their committee during the planning process

  • Reserve meeting location and negotiate venue contract

  • Attend all meetings

  • Design, prepare and send out meeting announcements and reminders

  • Consult with the program chair concerning all negotiations and agreements made with the presenter(s) and prepare accordingly

  • Consult with the sponsorship chair concerning all negotiations and agreements made with the sponsor(s) and prepare accordingly

  • Collect and track all meeting registrations and payments

  • Prepare nametags, handouts, membership and programming materials, etc. for distribution and display at the meeting

  • Stay on premise for the program as determined essential to address any and all issues that may arise

  • Reconcile meeting income

  • Invoice unpaid attendees

 

Continuing Education

  • Work with the program chair and his committee in planning educational programs

  • Work with the program chair and presenter in attaining a one page outline with time increment for submission

  • Complete and submit paperwork and payment to the respective continuing education offices for course approval/filing in a timely manner whenever possible

  • Prepare and provide proper continuing education sign in sheets at the event

  • Prepare and provide proper certificates of completion

  • Complete and submit paperwork and payment to the to the respective continuing education offices for roster filing in a timely manner
